Quick Guide: Resident Mobile App Overview & Adding a Visitor

This guide provides an overview of the Proptia Resident Mobile App and instructions for adding a visitor.

Resident Mobile App Dashboard Overview

Upon logging into the app, you’ll land on your Dashboard where you’ll find several useful widgets:

1. Visitor Widget

  • Displays a count of your current visitors:

    • Permanent

    • Temporary

    • Restricted

  • Tap the widget to view visitor details.

2. Resident Widget

  • Shows all members of your household.

3. Credential Widget

  • Lists credentials assigned to you and your household:

    • RFID Transponders

    • FOBs

    • Bluetooth Credentials

4. Vehicles Widget

  • Displays all vehicles registered to members of your household.

Adding a Visitor

To add a new visitor, follow these steps:

  1. Tap Add > Visitor

  2. Select Visitor Settings:

    • Visitor Type: Defaults to Temporary. You can switch to Permanent or Restricted.

    • Registration Type: Can be changed to Event (e.g., birthday party with multiple attendees).

    • Guest or Vendor: Choose accordingly; each has its own pass types.

    • Pass Type: Select from the available options (defaults are pre-set).

  3. Continue and Confirm Visit Details:

    • Tap Continue to set the date and time.

    • Tap Next to proceed.

  4. Input Visitor Information:

    • Phone Number

    • Email Address

    • License Plate (if applicable)

    • Notes (optional)

  5. Add and Send E-Pass:

    • Tap Add Visitor

    • Choose to send an E-pass via text message.

  6. Confirmation:

    • Your visitor is now listed under the appropriate category (e.g., Temporary).

    • Example: After adding Zach Williams, the temporary visitor count updates accordingly.
