How to Activate a Resident License Plate for Access Into The Community

This guide walks property managers through the process of enabling license plate recognition (LPR) for residents, allowing their vehicles to access the community through gated entries using their license plates.

1. Open the Resident’s Profile
   Start by navigating to the resident’s profile, whether you’re adding a new resident or modifying an existing one.

2. Assign the LPR Access Level

   • Go to the Access tab on the resident’s profile.

   • Under Access Control, find the dropdown labeled Access Level.

   • Select the appropriate access level that includes "LPR" in the name.

     Each community may name these access levels differently, but they should always clearly reference "LPR" for identification.

3. Confirm the Access Level Update
   Once selected, you will see a message confirming the access level has been updated.

4. Add the Resident’s Vehicle
   After assigning the LPR access level, go ahead and add the resident’s vehicle.
