How to Configure Property Address Call Priorities for Residents

Introduction

When guests arrive at a gated community or a property with a front desk, the staff needs an efficient way to contact residents or hosts of a property for approval—especially if the visitor isn’t already on the guest list. That’s where the call priority feature comes in. It ensures that the right person gets contacted in the right order, keeping the check-in process fast and seamless.

What Are Call Priorities?

Call priorities determine the order in which the front desk or gate attendants will attempt to reach residents or people associated with a property. You set which numbers should be contacted first, so there’s never any confusion about whom to call for visitor approval.

Setting Up Call Priorities: Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Find the resident's profile you'd like to set ac all priority for by searching their name in the search field.

Step 2: Click the residents name in row in the search results to open their profile.

Step 3: When the resident’s profile is open select the Access tab.

Then click the (+) icon next to Visitor Access.

Step 4: Scroll down to find the call priority list. Here, you’ll see available slots for priorities 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Step 5: Click Edit to begin changing the call order.

Step 6: Review all available phone numbers connected to the resident or household. Set the desired sequence—maybe the resident’s mobile comes first, their partner’s next, and so on.

Step 7: Click Save to lock in your changes.

Now, whenever a visitor needs approval, the gate attendants will follow this order to contact someone associated with the property.

Tips for Managing Call Priorities

  • Keep contact information up-to-date so the right person is always reached first.

  • Revisit call priorities whenever residents move or add new household members.

  • Double-check the order: It’s easy to drag numbers around, so confirm the top spot is correct before saving.

Summary

Setting call priorities takes just a few quick steps, but it can make a major difference for security and convenience. The front desk will always know exactly whom to call, visitors get approved faster, and residents have peace of mind.
