Linking vehicle credentials to license plates ensures your vehicle management system is always accurate and up-to-date. Use the Proptia Web App to match known credentials to previously unknown license plates, streamlining auditing and vehicle access management.

Module 1: Locate and Review the Vehicle Transaction

  1. Log in to the Proptia Web App to access management tools.

  1. Click Transactions in the main navigation menu.

  1. Select Transaction Directories from the submenu.

  1. Click Credential to Vehicle to enter the credential matching section.

  1. Configure your search by setting the desired date range in the From Date and To Date fields.

  1. Select the appropriate Credential Reader, such as LPR Camera, as well as the expected first transaction and desired Vehicle Credential Type.

  1. Click Search to display results that match your criteria.

  1. Review the matched credential transactions and locate the relevant record correlating to an LPR camera event.

  1. Click the license plate entry highlighted in blue to view the vehicle snapshot.

  1. Check the vehicle’s make and model on the vehicle snapshot to ensure the record matches the actual vehicle.

Module 2: Link and Update Vehicle Credential Information

  1. Click the Horizontal Ellipses menu next to the relevant vehicle record.

  1. Click Link to open the data updating tool.

  1. Review the LPR Detection next to the vehicle profile. Note that the name, address, credential, and assigned vehicles fields are locked for editing.

  1. Edit the license plate details (such as state, make, model, color, year, type, call, and space) as needed to reflect the actual LPR camera detection.

  1. Update the license plate to match the camera’s detected value if there was a discrepancy.

  1. Click Confirm and Save to finalize the update. This action ensures the correct license plate is linked to the credential for future transactions.

Module 3: Review and Compare Vehicle Data

  1. Examine the before-and-after comparison of the vehicle details to confirm the update was successful.

  1. Verify that the vehicle data now reflects an accurate and current link between the vehicle credential and its license plate.
