How to Set Up a New Organization in Proptia Dealer Web App

Setting up a new client in the Proptia Dealer Web App streamlines onboarding, ensures accurate billing, and creates a solid foundation for their ongoing support.

Module 1: Begin Organization Setup

  1. Log in to your Proptia Dealer Web App using your username and password.

  1. In the dashboard, click Add Set to start configuring your new client’s organization.

Module 2: Enter Organization Basics

  1. Under Organization's Type, select Site Organization.

  1. Choose your Business Type. - Select Residential for single/family homes, townhomes, or condos. - Select Commercial for offices and business properties.

  1. Enter the Legal Name of the organization as officially registered.

  1. Input the Site Display Name for the public-facing identity of the organization.

  1. Leave the Billing Start Date field empty for now; update when billing starts.

Module 3: Address & Contact Information

  1. Enter the organization's Address in the appropriate fields.

  1. If the mailing address is the same as the primary address, tick the box Check here if mailing address is the same.

  1. If the mailing address differs, fill in the specific Mailing Address details.

  1. Input the Site Admin Information (typically the property manager): name and email.

Module 4: Payment, Financial & Support Contacts

  1. For Payment Method, either accept the default ACH or select another option from the dropdown.

  1. Designate the Financial Contact (person responsible for billing): name and dedicated billing email.

  1. In the Self Support section, enter the contact responsible for in-house tech support. If not available, use the property manager's details.

Module 5: Final Organization Settings

  1. Under Organization Settings, select the correct Timezone and Region for accurate call routing.

  1. Enter the Organization Website URL.

  1. Set the Default Credential Facility Code; for this client, input `30000`.

  1. Create the Custom Login SlackNet for the organization’s unique community nickname.

  1. Review all entered information to ensure accuracy.
  2. Click Save to finalize and activate the client's organization profile.
