Adding or restricting visitors in Proptia is a simple process. Follow the steps below to manage visitor access to your community:
Steps to Add a Visitor:
- Log in to Proptia:
- After logging in, navigate to the "Add Visitor" option.
- Fill Out the Add Visitor Form:
- Select Visitor Type:
- Choose from the following options:
- Temporary
- Permanent
- Restricted
- Choose Individual Type:
- Select whether the visitor is an:
- Individual
- Guest
- Vendor
- Select the Appropriate Pass Type:
- The available pass types may vary depending on how your property management has configured Proptia.
- The pass types will automatically adjust based on the selected visitor type (e.g., different pass types for guests, vendors, etc.).
- Enter Visitor Information:
- Provide the necessary details:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email (required if your community supports e-pass)
- License Plate
- Save the Visitor:
- Click Save to complete the process.
- If your community has enabled the e-pass feature:
- Click Save and Send e-pass to email the visitor their QR code.
- The visitor will receive an email with a QR code, granting them permission to enter your community.
