How to change your name displayed in a TES




If your community uses Telephone Entry Systems (TES) at gates or guard houses, you have the ability to customize how your information is displayed. Follow these steps to modify the name and contact details visible to visitors using the system.

Steps to Change Your Name Displayed in a TES:

  1. Log in to Proptia:
    • Access your account using your credentials.
  2. Navigate to My Account:
    • From the dashboard, click on My Account.
  3. Select Access Settings:
    • Within the My Account section, select Access.
  4. Expand Visitor Access Settings:
    • Under Access, expand the Visitor Access options to view all available settings.
  5. Modify Your Name and Phone Number Displayed:
    • You will see options to:
      • Change your displayed name: Modify how your name appears in the TES.
      • Update your phone number: Choose the phone number visitors will call from the TES.
      • Hide your name from the TES: If you prefer not to have your name displayed, you can opt to hide it from the phone directory.
  6. Set a Display Schedule (Optional):
    • You can also set a schedule for when and where your name is displayed in the TES, useful if you have multiple units.
  7. Save Your Changes:
    • Once you have made the desired updates, click Save to apply the changes. These modifications will automatically update in the TES across your community.
