Resident Overview.
The Proptia Resident Portal provides residents with comprehensive tools to manage their property, guests, vehicles, and more. This guide walks you through the main features and functionalities available in the portal.
Dashboard Overview
When you first log in to the Proptia Resident Portal, you’ll land on your Dashboard. Here, you can manage a variety of visitor and resident activities:
- Guests: You’ll find tabs for:
- Individual
- Vendor
- Event
- Activity
- Expired
- Restricted
- Deleted Guests
Each tab contains guest records that display:- Temporary or permanent guest status
- First and last name
- Approved-through dates
- License plate (if applicable)
- Host name (typically you, the resident, or other associated residents)
- Pass name, start and end dates, and valid days
- Visitor type (e.g., guest, vendor)
You can also manage guests by using the Add Visitor icon in the top right corner.
Vehicles
The Vehicle Directory displays all vehicles associated with your property. You can:
- Edit vehicle details
- Assign vehicles to residents
- Delete vehicles
To add a new vehicle, click the Add button and fill out the necessary form.
Residents
In the Residents section, you will see a list of all residents associated with your property. Please note that in most cases, residents cannot be deleted directly and may require assistance from your property management team.
Access Control
If your community uses Access Control features like RFID tags or fobs for pool or tennis court access, this section will show all devices and their associated users.
Amenities
The Amenities section lists custom amenities for your community, such as:
- Tennis courts
- Outdoor kitchens
- Clubhouses
If your community allows it, you can reserve these amenities via the Reservations feature.
Pets
If you have pets, you can add them to the Pets section. This is useful in case your pet gets lost—security can identify the pet by its picture and details. To add a pet, click the Add button and complete the form.
Ticket Directory
The Ticket Directory helps you manage any tickets or requests submitted to your property management company. Select a start and end date, click Search, and you will see any available tickets for that period.
Contacts
In the Contacts section, you will find useful community contacts, such as:
- Community attendants
- Membership contacts
These are for reference, providing phone numbers and details you might need.
My Account
The My Account section allows you to:
- Modify personal details
- View and edit Vehicles, Access Control items, and Telephone Entry System (TES) settings
If your community uses call boxes or gates, you can update how your name and phone number are displayed, allowing visitors to reach you easily.
Additional Settings
- Credentials, Visitors, and Pets: These categories on the left-hand side offer quick access to relevant details.
- In the top right corner, click your name to access the Change Password option or My Profile, which links back to the My Account section.
