How to update your verbal confirmation code.




In Proptia, residents can set up a verbal confirmation code to enhance security during guest verifications. This code will be visible to guards and used to confirm your identity when they contact you regarding guest access.

Steps to Update Your Verbal Confirmation Code:

  1. Log in to Proptia:
    • Access your Proptia account using your credentials.
  2. Go to My Account:
    • From the dashboard, click on My Account.
  3. Navigate to Access Settings:
    • Within My Account, go to Access, then select Visitor Access.
  4. Edit Your Verbal Confirmation Code:
    • Click Edit to modify your visitor access settings.
    • In the field for Verbal Confirmation Code, input the code you want to use.
  5. Save the Changes:
    • Once you’ve entered your desired verbal confirmation code, click Save.

When to Use Your Verbal Confirmation Code:

  • The code will be used when a guest arrives and the guard needs to verify if they are authorized.
  • The guard will contact you and ask for the code. If you provide the correct code, the guard will know that you are the appropriate person to authorize the guest.
  • You may also use the code when calling the guardhouse to add a guest.
