How to add Resident Details.


Property managers can easily add and manage resident details in Proptia. Follow the steps below to add a new resident and manage their information.

Steps to Add Resident Details:

  1. Log in to Proptia:
    • Access your Proptia account using your property manager credentials.
  2. Navigate to the Resident Directory:
    • Go to Directories and select Residents.
  3. Add a New Resident:
    • Click the Add button to open the new resident form.
  4. Fill Out the Resident Form:
    • Complete all required fields (marked with a red asterisk), including selecting the property the resident is assigned to.
    • Once the information is complete, click Save.
  5. Resident Details Screen:
    • After saving, you will be directed to the Resident Details screen with several tabs available:
      • Resident Details: Enter contact information such as phone number, email, and zip code. You can also utilize customizable fields for additional resident information.
      • Vehicles: Add any vehicles owned by the resident.
      • Access: Manage access control such as RFID tags, mobile credentials, key fobs, and visitor access.
      • Credentials: Assign and manage resident credentials.
      • Visitors: View visitors associated with the resident's property, including events, restricted visitors, and vendors.
      • Pets: Add and manage information about the resident's pets, useful for security purposes.
      • Notifications: Configure the residentโ€™s preferences for receiving text or email notifications for certain events.
      • Member Groups: Assign the resident to specific member groups (e.g., clubhouse membership).
      • Notes: Add any relevant notes related to the resident and property.
