How to add a mobile credential.
As a property manager, you can assign mobile credentials to residents in Proptia. Follow the steps below to add a mobile credential for a resident.
Steps to Add a Mobile Credential:
- Log in to Proptia:
- Access your Proptia account using your property manager credentials.
- Locate the Resident:
- Go to Directories and select Residents.
- Search for the resident you want to assign the mobile credential to and select them from the list.
- Access the Credentials Tab:
- On the resident's details screen, select the Credentials tab.
- Click Add to assign a new credential.
- Fill Out the Credential Form:
- On the form, select Existing.
- Choose the Credential Type as Mobile Credential.
- Locate an Unassigned Credential.
- If needed, assign a License Plate to the mobile credential.
- Select the Activation Date and choose whether the credential should Never Expire or set an Expiration Date.
- Save the Mobile Credential:
- Once all information is filled out, click Save.
- The resident will receive an email with instructions to attach the mobile credential to their smartphone.
