How to Add a Visitor in the Proptia Mobile App





In the Proptia mobile app, residents can easily add visitors and manage visitor passes. Follow the steps below to add a visitor to your property.

Steps to Add a Visitor:

  1. Open the Proptia Mobile App:
    • Log in to the app using your credentials.
  2. Start the Add Visitor Process:
    • From the dashboard, tap the purple plus icon at the bottom center of the screen.
    • Select Visitor from the available options.
  3. Complete the Visitor Form:
    • The form will automatically set some default parameters (e.g., pass term, registration type, visitor type, and pass types). These defaults are determined by your management team or board.
  4. Choose the Pass Term:
    • Select the Pass Term (default is Temporary).
    • You can switch between Temporary, Permanent, or Restricted by tapping the term and selecting the appropriate option.
  5. Select the Registration Type:
    • Choose either Individual or Event:
      • Individual: For adding a single visitor.
      • Event: For adding multiple visitors (e.g., for a party or gathering).
  6. Select the Visitor Type:
    • Choose whether the visitor is a Guest or Vendor.
    • Pass types will automatically adjust based on the visitor type selected.
  7. Choose the Pass Type:
    • Select the desired pass type (e.g., Guest Pass, One-time Pass, Week-long Pass, etc.). These are predefined by your management team.
  8. Configure Validity Dates and Times:
    • Set the Valid Through Date and End Date.
    • If the visitor should only have access on specific days, adjust the Valid Days accordingly (e.g., set the pass to be valid only on Wednesdays for a contractor).
  9. Enter Visitor Details:
    • Enter the visitor’s Name, Phone Number, and Email (optional).
    • If you enter an email address, the ePass will be sent via email. If you prefer to send the ePass by text, leave the email field blank.
  10. Send the ePass (Optional):
    • If the ePass feature is enabled for your community, the Send ePass toggle will be on by default. This allows you to generate and send the ePass.
    • If you prefer to text the ePass, leave the email field blank.
  11. Complete the Process:
    • Tap Add Visitor to finalize the process.
    • The visitor’s pass will be generated, and the ePass will be sent via email or text, depending on the information you provided.
